Savannah's first night without the brace

Today is Savannah's first official night without the foot brace!!! She has had weekly nights off for a couple months. Starting today, she doesn't have to wear it anymore. We celebrated by letting her pick dinner and dessert - Pizza and Puppy Chow! She was really excited when we told her that we had a present! We have a follow up visit with the Doctor in April so that he can check on how her feet are doing.

Kelli plays the basson at a concert for the first time!

Kelli's band director gave her the opportunity to try the bassoon. If she likes it, she will switch from oboe to bassoon as a primary instrument. She will do well with either instrument.

Winter Continues in North Central Illinois

It just started snowing again! I didn't even know it was in the forecast. Enjoy this little bit of winter. It is a light snow, but it is enough to stick to the sidewalks.

I am also posting some pictures of the river. I have been fascinated by how it has changed over the winter. I plan to post more river pictures over the coming days.
