We will, we will melt you!

While Kent and I were gone one day, Kasey did this video of Savannah singing and playing in the back yard. Savannah got the words of "We will rock you" mixed with the words of "We will melt you"

Spring Sports

Kelli ran the 1 mile race for track and Nathanael played soccer. April and May were VERY busy months, but the kids really enjoyed their activities.

Memorial Day Parade

The Memorial Day Parade is a fun event for us each year. The elementary schools, the middle schoolband and the high school band all march in the parade. It is a short parade, only a few blocks, that ends at the park in the middle of town. There are several patriotic speeches and the high school band performs. It is a great way to remember those who have fought for our country. Next year, all 4 kids will be in the parade.

Pop Concert! The BEST Concert of the Year!

Kasey's school choir does a Pop Concert every May. It is the best concert of the year! This year's theme was music from the 70's. As you can tell, the kids and director put a lot of effort into their costumes. They have a blast! During the first video, a girl flips through posters which show music competition scores from other schools. The last card is this year's score from Ottawa! This is Ottawa's 13th State Music Championship!!!! This medley is a celebration of that Championship! We are the Champions!

Learning to ride

Last year and earlier this spring Savannah was really nervous about riding her big bike. A couple weeks ago, things seemed to click and she is doing really well. It will probably be a while before we take off the training wheels, but that will come.
