Easter 2008

We had a good Easter. It was quiet, but we were resting after our trip to St. Louis. It is still rather cold around here for Easter, so it is hard to feel like it is actually Spring!

Mini Trip to St. Louis

We met my family in St. Louis on Friday and Saturday of Easter week-end. It was a really quick trip, but it was fun to see family and places that we haven't seen before.

This video is from Kelli's first Solo and Ensemble competition today. On the Middle School level, the students perform for a judge who critiques their performance rather then giving them as score. Unfortunately, her duet partner was sick, so she had to play her piece with the judge. She didn't seem pressured and did a great job!

Solo & Ensemble Contest!!!

Kasey's school band and choir participated in Solo & Ensemble competition on March 1, 2008. This competition is one portion of a competition to determine if her high school will win its 12th straight state music championship.

She earned a division 1 rating with 1 being the highest and 5 being the lowest.
